AI Family Health

Privacy policy

Effective 18 October 2026

Mivelta is a family health assistant. It does not diagnose or treat. There is no account: we never ask for your name, phone number or email. This page explains what data the app works with.

Data on your phone and AI

Your health data is stored on this device, in an encrypted database. When you use an AI feature, the server receives only what that answer needs: your question or the photo of a lab sheet or meal, plus basic profile facts (age, sex, conditions, medications). Nothing of it is stored on the server, and lab photos are not kept on the phone either; for meals only a small thumbnail stays, inside the encrypted database. When you buy Pro, the purchase reference from the App Store or Google Play is checked with them. Family sharing is optional. Only if you turn it on are the groups you choose encrypted on your phone and sent to the server, and only the person you allowed can open them — the server cannot read them. You can stop sharing at any time; the server copy is then deleted, and a copy not updated for 30 days is deleted automatically. You can delete all data at any time.

Usual values

If you fill in your usual values (Profile → My usual values), they are sent with a chat question together with the blood pressure, sugar, pulse and weight you typed in the last 30 days, so the answer can compare. Readings from a watch or cuff are not sent. Nothing of it is stored on the server.

Watches, bands and cuffs

If you connect a watch, band or blood-pressure cuff, the app only reads from your phone's health store — it never writes anything back. Those readings are kept in the same encrypted database on this device, are never used for advertising, are never sold or passed to third parties, and are not sent to our server. The weekly summary sends day totals without any identifier beyond a random install id. Disconnecting the device, or deleting all your data, removes everything that was read.

Voice

When you tap the orb or the microphone, your phone’s own service (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android) turns your voice into text. The app does not record or keep the audio and never sends it to our server — only the resulting text is sent for an answer, just as if you had typed it.

Weather

For the weather the app sends only a rough position (rounded to about 1 km) to the Open-Meteo service: from the phone's approximate location if you allow it, otherwise from its time zone or the city chosen in Settings. Your name and health data are never sent. Weather can be turned off in Settings.

Partners

Some screens may show one card from a partner (a pharmacy, lab, clinic, shop or insurer). It is always marked “Partner” and can be closed; Pro users can hide them all in Profile. To choose these cards the app sends only your country, never your health data, and the card is picked on your phone. A tap opens the partner’s website; we count taps per card for the partner without knowing who tapped. Partners never appear in the chat, in AI answers or in emergency cards.

Usage counts and feedback

To see which features help, the server counts AI requests per day and feature (for example, “meal photos: 120”), with no device ID and nothing you wrote. A 👍 or 👎 on a meal estimate is counted the same way, without the photo or the dish. A message sent through “Write to us” is stored with the app version, language and platform only, without your name or device ID, and deleted after a year.

Who processes data

  • Our server runs on Supabase.
  • AI answers are produced by Anthropic (Claude). It receives only what that answer needs; under Anthropic’s commercial terms this data is not used to train models.
  • Apple and Google check purchases, and their own services turn voice into text.
  • Weather comes from Open-Meteo.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data.
  • We use no advertising or tracking SDKs.
  • We never give your health data to advertisers or partners.

Children

A parent can add a child’s profile on their own phone. Like everything else, it stays on the parent’s phone, encrypted. The app is not meant to be used by children on their own.

Deleting your data

Profile → “Delete all my data” erases everything on the phone. Stopping family sharing deletes the server copy too. As there is no account, nothing on the server is linked to your name.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page and the date above are updated. Important changes are also shown in the app.
